Hello! The weather may be changing but we're still meeting up for events, and here's what we've got currently planned for October...
First up is brunch club on Saturday 10th October when we'll be visiting Paratha Inn (11am, £2), a venue that claims to serves London's best South Asian street food. We visited last year and really enjoyed the food, so thought it well worth popping in again to start off our weekend.

We'll then be heading over to The Hope, Carshalton for drinks on the same Saturday 10th October (2pm, free). This popular pub once again won CAMRA's Sutton Pub of the Year for 2026, so this should be a great spot to meet up over a pint or two.

Following that is our monthly trip to The Green Dragon for pub grub on Tuesday 13th October (7pm, free). Tasty food and a solid drink selection are on offer here, and this is a more casual event that's great for newcomers and regulars alike so hope to see you there!

The next meetup is at the Bedford Tavern on Thursday 22nd October (7pm, free). This traditional pub gets excellent reviews its for food and friendliness, so a perfect spot for a drink, nibble and chat.

October's dinner club will be held at 876 Uptown on Tuesday 27th October (7pm, £2). This is a Jamaican restaurant in South End's restaurant quarter with reviews praising its authentic food, so we're looking forwards to paying it a visit.

We'll be finishing the month with a Halloween Pub Crawl on Saturday 31st October (1pm, free). As this will take place on the actual day of Halloween we're still planning the exact route (so as not to conflict with any ticketed events at pubs) but will be held in and around the Croydon town centre - please keep an eye on the event page for details.
